Cross-Examination
The exhibits I submitted were handed over to me for safekeeping under the direction of my superior authority. By “superior authority,” I meant our current Coordinator, Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan. I do not know whether the IO interrogated Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan or not. I do not remember the exact date when these exhibits were deposited in our library.
[nb: At this point the chairman says the winess is a formal witness therefore he can not answer anything from his memory in response to a question asked by the defence lawyer Amir hossain that most probably would require using the witness’s memory to answer.]
It is not true that Mamunur Rashid, Masud Rana, and Abu Bakar Siddique did not sign the seizure list in my presence. It is also not true that I do not recognize their signatures.
At the time of seizure, there were only the three of us present initially, but later I clarified that many other people were also present. It is not true that the seizure lists were not properly prepared.
