Evidence of Golam Iftekhar Alam

My Name is Md. Golam Iftekhar Alam, age 39 years, Father- XX, Mother XXX, Address XXX, District- Dinajpur.

I am working as an SI (Sub-Inspector) in the Police, specializing in CID Photography and Expert.

The Investigating Officer of this case sent a pen drive containing 12 videos to our office on 11/03/2025 AD to examine whether they were AI (Artificial Intelligence) generated.=

After examining the said videos, I returned the pen drive to the Investigating Officer along with my opinion on 13/03/2025 AD. No evidence was found that the videos received for examination were AI generated. The description and value of the 12 videos that the Investigating Officer of this case sent to me are in this pen drive (Exhibit- 17). This is my signature on the certified copy of the opinion (Exhibit- 17/1). I have not submitted the original opinion. It will be submitted in various cases. The original copy is with me. This is my deposition.

Cross-examination

A carrier brought the pen drive from the Investigating Officer to my office. I do not know the name of the carrier who brought the pen drive.

It is not true that the 12 videos sent by the Investigating Officer are not one and the same.

I do not know the name of the carrier who took the pen drive mentioned in my office note back to the Investigating Officer.

I know the memorial number of the letter received from the Investigating Officer and the letter returned to the Investigating Officer. I have seen 1 video contained within the received pen drive. The videos stored in that pen drive were not displayed in the Tribunal today. Although my name and designation are written below my signature at the bottom of the opinion, it does not have the seal of a seal pad.          

I do not know in how many cases the original substance of my opinion will be submitted. I do not know the subject matter of the cases in which it will be submitted.     

It is not true that I correctly examined the received videos. I have seen them.
