Evidence of Dr. Rahat Bin Kasem
(Age: 37 Profession/Position: Senior Store Officer, Kurmitola General Hospital)

During the July–August 2024 mass uprising, several gunshot-injured patients were treated at Kurmitola General Hospital.

On 13 February 2025, the Investigating Officer formally seized from me one intact bullet and one partially deformed bullet which had been preserved in the hospital store.

The seizure was carried out in my presence and also in the presence of Dr. Nihar Ranjan Nandi, Deputy Director of the hospital.

The seizure list is marked as Exhibit-14.

My signature on the list is marked as Exhibit-14/1.

Dr. Nihar Ranjan Nandi also signed it, which is marked as Exhibit-14/2.

Cross-Examination

It is not true that neither I nor Dr. Nihar signed the seizure list.

The seized materials presented today were indeed under my custody.

It is correct that there is no official seal below my signature or Dr. Nihar’s signature on the seizure list.

It is not true that I have given false testimony.
