Evidence of Dr. Md. Rashidul Alam
(Age: 42, Profession/ Position: Assistant Director, National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Dhaka

During the July–August 2024 movement, several gunshot-injured patients were admitted to NITOR hospital. The bullets removed from their bodies through surgery were formally seized by the Investigating Officer in my presence.

A total of 19 bullets were seized under a seizure list (Exhibit-13).

My signature on the list is marked as Exhibit-13/1.

I also recognize the signature of Dr. Md. Anowarullah, which is on the same seizure list, marked as Exhibit-13/2.

These are the seized bullets (Material Exhibit XXI).

This is my statement.

Cross-Examination

At the time of preparing the seizure list, the Director of the hospital and several other individuals were also present.

It is not true that the seizure list was not prepared in my presence.

It is not true that the bullets shown today are not the ones actually seized.

It is not true that I have given false testimony.
