Testimony by Mohammad Monirul Islam

My name is Mohammad Monirul Islam. My age is approximately 34. I am working as an Assistant Registrar in the Surgery Department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

On 12/2/2025, the investigating officer of this case, Mr. Alamgir, seized a total of 23 bullets, pellets, and fragments of bullets that were extracted and kept from the bodies of patients who suffered bullet and pellet injuries during the anti-discrimination student movement in July-August 2024 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, as presented by Assistant Director Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman. This is that seizure list. This is my signature on that seizure list. Dr. Md. Abu Idris, Medical Officer, Casualty Department, Dhaka Medical College, signed this seizure list in my presence as my witness. I recognize his signature. These are the seized bullets, pellets, and bullet fragments.

Cross-examination

It is not true that these bullets, pellets, and bullet fragments are not the bullets and pellets extracted from the bodies of the protesting anti-discrimination students.

It is not true that the Idris I am referring to is not this Idris and that this is not his signature.
