Testimony of Md. Gias Uddin

My name is Md. Gias Uddin. My age is approximately 50 years. I am working as an office assistant in the Department of Generic Medicine at Rangpur Medical College. I was also employed in this position on February 12, 2025. On that day, the investigating officer went to our college and seized two books related to post-mortems. He then handed over the two books to the custody of the departmental head, Dr. Rafiqul Islam. From one of those books, he collected a photocopy of a post-mortem report for a deceased person named Abu Sayeed.

Cross-examination 

I did not read it. However, I know that it contains information regarding Abu Sayeed’s post-mortem.

It is not true that the application for the documents provided today and the application for the documents from that day are not the same.

As this is the final post-mortem report, my signature was not required. Yes, my signature is not on one page of the post-mortem report.

It is not true that no document was presented in front of me.

It is not true that I gave false testimony in the tribunal today.
